Trek through alpine forests and meadows with stunning snow-capped peak views, gradual ascent to serene Kalkatidhar campsite. Overnight in tents at Kalkatidhar.
Ascend through lush meadows and moraine patches, enter the breathtaking Har Ki Dun Valley with views of Swargarohini peaks, spot Himalayan wildlife — Monal pheasants, Bharal, musk deer, return to Kalkatidhar. Overnight in tents at Kalkatidhar.
Descend through Osla, a traditional Himalayan village with centuries-old Someshwar Mahadev Temple, experience local culture and unique wooden architecture, continue to Gangad. Overnight in tents at Gangad.

Yes, it is rated Easy to Moderate. Anyone with basic fitness who can walk 8-10 km per day can do this trek.

Har Ki Dun is believed to be the valley from where the Pandavas ascended to heaven. The Osla village has an ancient Someshwar Mahadev Temple dedicated to Duryodhana.
Monal pheasants, Bharal (blue sheep), musk deer and various Himalayan birds can be spotted on the trail.
