Assemble at Akshardham Metro Station, Delhi by 10:00–11:00 PM. Meet your trip leader and group members for a short briefing. Depart in a comfortable tempo traveller for an overnight journey towards Devprayag.
Arrive in Devprayag early morning. Visit Devprayag Sangam, where the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers merge to form the holy Ganga. Stop at Dhari Devi Temple, dedicated to Goddess Kali, the guardian deity of Uttarakhand. Drive towards the stay location; check-in, freshen up, and relax. Dinner followed by an overnight stay.
Start your day with an early morning breakfast. Drive to Chopta, the starting point of the trek. Begin the trek to Tungnath Temple (approx. 4.5 km) — the world's highest Shiva temple. Continue the ascent to Chandrashila Peak (additional 1.5 km) for panoramic Himalayan views including Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Chaukhamba ranges. Trek back to Chopta before sunset. Overnight stay at Chopta or Sari Village.
Wake up early, have breakfast, and check out from the stay. Drive to Sari Village, the starting point of the Deoria Tal trek. Trek to Deoria Tal — a serene alpine lake offering stunning reflections of the Himalayan peaks. Trek back to Sari Village. Visit Omkareshwar Temple, Ukhimath. Begin the return journey to Delhi. Reach Delhi early morning.

It is considered an easy-to-moderate trek. The trail from Chopta to Tungnath is well-paved and about 4.5 km long. The final 1.5 km stretch to Chandrashila Peak is steeper but very rewarding for beginners.
April to June is perfect for lush greenery and rhododendrons. September to November offers crystal clear mountain views. For snow lovers, December to March is ideal for a winter trek.

No prior experience is required. Beginners with basic physical fitness can easily complete this trek. We simply recommend a week of light exercise like walking or jogging before the trip.
